Little ginger update

Hi Everyone hope your well,

Well i thought i should say how he's doing. After he nearly died in the winter i have been working on and with him like mad.

He still cant quite meow he hisses at everything which its quite funny yestarday we got back late from a trip and there he was waiting for us he tried to run around my legs and meow but hissed instead bilbo was sat near by looking confused.

We are making big progress
as this photo shows he's happy to rest near us and his coat is much better. He needs to be snipped so we are going to get the CPL to help fund it and his injections.
He's not spraying as much now which is also good.

I hope to make some cards over the next few days . So till then take care everyone and happy crafting to you all.

Bracken and Fern Cards

Hi everyone,

Two more cards featuring Bracken & Fern These are once again rough cards. The image sizes are way off what i want them. But i was eager to see how they come out. The aim of these roughs will be to make a stamp or two in the end, But thats a little way off yet

First off a congratulations

card for university students.

The gown and the hat where fun to drawn

I drew them separatly and used a light box to cloth the character.

I think i got the expression ok on this one and that there is enough movment within the drawing.

Other materials used Red & black card stock, Netsibilities dies. My imaginations, Silver pens.

Second is a congratulations

on passing your driving test card with one of the badgers tearing up the L plate.

I think the ears are a bit big so might change this one. I struggle with perspective and had to break the drawing down quite a bit.

I used card stock, Nestibilities, Pro markers, and stickers.

Stamp making questions

Hi everyone,
I hope you are well.

Well the drawing of smugger the rabbit has been done and sent to his owner. So now i'm cleanning up bits and such i have another 8 bookmarks to complete which i am working on and off of. I also want to make another Polymore stamp with Fern & Braken. I am working on rough sketches so hope to be able to show you some ideas later on what they might look like. The hardest part is finding somthing no one has yet done.

I also need to find someone to make some. The company i used for the first one was very expensive so i need to find someone who can do a good job for a fair price, I might look to america.
Once i have things going then i plan to use some them in blogg cadies and such.

Anyway here's one of the first ideas.


The image has a lot of faults with it. (the mouth shape, pose colouring) Blame my brother for that he keeps on making loud noises and distracting me.


This is the 6th version of the image i have tried tonight. I am getting frustrated now so will quit tonight.
So i'm going to do the true version at work tommorow I will find an unused room and hide away and concentrate.


I could do with feedback on this image good and bad.
This image once cleaned andsorted will be made in to a stamp like my last one.


In The real version on the card the words would be bigger and more gold borders and gem stones used, but as it is a rough layout i have not added all of those things.


The pens ran baddly so there are alot of white bits that ar't white.

Cats and cards

Hi everyone how's it going, I hope everyone got great weather and having fun crafting.

First off a bookatrix card.

I was inspired to try this after seeing my best friend Sarah do an amazing bookatrix card for a friend who was leaving work to be a happy granny.
Sarah does these great books with complmenting colours and eye catching detail yet they are unclutered and light i'm rather jealous of her ability to make them so nice. She use's vellum and prints lovley asying on it for the front layer.

I dont have a great printer so instead i used a saying stamp from The Unmounted Stamp Company. I should have done it in purple but was having problems getting the ink to stay on the vellum.

I used mixed card stock flower things i got cheap from hobby craft and silver stickers. It no where near as nice as the one Sarah did but i have learnt loads in making it.

Next

Our cat Bilbo....

I just have to show you the look on her face....

Pee'd off or what.

I think she was having a bad hair day or something.

Anyway that's all form me so far i have artists block and don't feel motivated to do anything though i really should.

Leaving Card

This is a leaving card for a great lady at work.

Why Witches well shall we say its an office joke that shes in on.

Hand drawn and mounted on card. I CANT BELEIVE HOW EXPENSIVE A4 ENVELOPES ARE!

Little dragon and bunny work

Hi everyone, hope your all well and the weathers nice and sunny.


Here's my little dragon,
Can you help him grow big and strong.



The site is safe and sercure all he needs is a freindly click now and then. He is very lonley.

I am now working on the ears as these are harder and fiddly, I used to think Bunnies were easy to draw.

Dutch look so simple, I was wrong there are so many colours there, shadow and detail. I have a even better respect for them. I still need to do a good 12 hours with this to polish it up. I'm happy with the head and shape it now down to layers.
I just hope the owner will like it.

I need to do this more, it makes me feel good. Drawing like this and using differernt mediums is fun though can get samie though, Thats way i do such a wide range of stuff. I'm Not going to stop drawing other things.

I'm back

Hi everyone,

I'm back, no more Jury duty for me. Saddly this means i have to go back to work which is not so great.

Anyway on with the cards. There are four to show you today.

I was having a sort though of my craft stuff I have so much to use and make. I decided to do a group of speed cards (under 5mins to make).

I had already coloured the images, which i keep in a little box and have to hand and i also have a box of cutout shapes so all i had to do was work out a layout and extras.

Though i still had to think carefully before using the glue and foam pads. It was also quite hard to find bits of card that went with the colours used on the images.

The bits that i used to make all of these cares are:

1. Pennyblack Images
2. Gems
3. Coloured card
4. Promarkers
5. Metalic sticker
6. Glue & foam pads

I find it a good way of providing my family with cards with these simple quick no fun designs.

I am sorting out some personal fun over the next few weeks i then hope to have some more cards and stuff to show as well as an update on my Smudge the rabbit drawing.

I have also stuck a little chat bok on the site and will be playing with the layout so sorry if things start looking very strange.

I will be up loading some stuff later, so till then take care.....
